A few months ago, I highlighted a tool called Black Menu, which gives you access to the entire Google universe via a single Chrome plugin. It’s one of my favorite discoveries of 2013.
Today’s tool isn’t quite that good, but it comes from a similar place: It’s called Storyful Multisearch. Like Black Menu, it’s a Chrome plugin that lives at the top right corner of every Chrome window. When you click on it, it pops open a little window that looks like this:
And from there, you type in what you’re searching for, and where you want to search for it, and the plugin opens a window for each searched site.
Now: The tool doesn’t give you advanced searching options. All it does it get you to the page you want to search a few clicks faster. But if you’re doing a lot of searching/verifying content on Twitter or Instagram or Tumblr, it could be really helpful.
