Apologies for the spotty TFR posts. I’m afraid they are, by necessity, as spotty as the wifi access in India.
This week I’m showcasing somebody else’s tutorial: on public speaking. Before you run away, let me say that it’s fun and friendly and not boring, and useful even if you’re not actually giving a public speech any time soon.
It’s called speaking.io, and I used it when I taught my tutorial at Mozfest last month. I also just recommended it on the Knight-Mozilla OpenNews call, which is a thing deserving of its own TFR post.
The tutorial is really user-friendly both in tone and in UX – you can navigate through it or pick and choose the most interesting (or funniest) parts. The programmer who wrote it covers everything from making a powerpoint to gauging audience reaction to keeping your cool.
