Pretty pictures make the day a little sweeter

Happy April Fools Day, reporters! Just kidding – April Fools Day was yesterday!! Got you! April Fools Day is so funny isn’t it. Hoo boy.

Let’s get zen. I feel like there’s a ton of advice for increasing your calm, but they mostly just make me feel like the guy in this Onion article. But there is one thing pretty much everyone the world over can vibe with – and that’s photographs.

Momentum is a Chrome/Firefox extension that gives you dashboard for your web browser. That means instead of opening a new window and seeing Google, you see something like this:

Even just seeing the Cliffs of Moher or a crazy mountain in Iceland for a split second seems like a nice break to me. Momentum also names the location and the photographer, which is seriously under-appreciated these days, I think.

It’s considered a “productivity” add-on because you can also customize a to do list, bookmarks, weather, inspirational quotes, a search bar, and all kinds of things. But I just like it the pretty pictures, to be honest.

I confess I’m feeling pretty braindead after a long couple weeks on deadline, so this week I’ll just leave you with pretty pictures. Next time I’ll make it up to you with a heavy duty reporting tool 💪 Stay inspired, reporters!
