Withstand the elements

Welcome back, reporters! Has anyone else noticed the Google Calendar option for adding events has gotten a little… crowded?

Goodness that’s a lot of options when all I want to do is note down an interview. Luckily, I found that uBlock, a popular ad blocker, can also block HTML elements!

If you’re not familiar with HTML elements, they’re little bits of code like headlines, images and bulleted lists. uBlock can’t delete them from a page, but it can make them invisible.

If you can’t change your settings, you can at least use uBlock to hide what you don’t want to see. Convenient! It works on Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari, and should be able to block just about any element. And, of course, ads. Unclutter your webpages, reporters!
