Huge news, y’all! IntelTechniques, which made it on the TFR best of list way back in 2018, has made a comeback.
Actually, it’s been back for a little bit, but I finally had a chance to test it out. My conclusion is that IntelTechniques works as an excellent command center for backgrounding any person, company, social media poster, or online entity.
The downside is that it’s held sway to the platforms and tools it searches. They can change over the years (cough Twitter cough), meaning that will affect IntelTechniques as well. As far as I can tell, it does an adequate job of keeping up (meaning most, if not all, of its many tools do work).
I call it a “command center” because it’s more like a central portal to a zillion ways to search someone on different platforms. The site was decommissioned back in 2019, eventually came back, to the rejoice of OSINT enthusiasts everywhere. Follow your peers reporters!
